The U-Lok bike stand is another innovative secure cycle parking system from Falco and provides a great alternative to traditional bike stands. The U-Lok provides integrated locking functionality for the cyclist and provides more options and flexibility in terms of the wide ranges of cycle parking solutions available to meet your project requirements.

The U-Lok bike stand features a built in locking appliance and makes for easier cycling as the user only needs to carry a padlock rather than a heavy duty chain. A sliding bolt mechanism is then moved across the locking position of the bike stand to secure the cycle in place and locked with the use of a padlock or standard cycle lock. Chains, cables and stirrup locks can also be used to secure the bicycle to the bike stand. As with the FalcoFunny, the cycle is supported by its frame in a plastic unit to protect the cycle’s paintwork.

The U-Lok bike stand has no restrictions in terms of tyre width meaning all variety of bikes can be accommodated. The locking of the saddle tube and the height of the upright means that it is an easy bike stand to use – perfect for public or private use!

The U-Loks’ are available in one height and are freestanding for 2 bicycles equidistant from one another. The U-Lok uprights for 2 bicycles are best placed around 1350mm apart.

Bike stand Dimensions
The curved main support of the bike stand consists of a tube Ø76.1 x 2.9mm and the cross tube is Ø70 x 2mm. The circular bracket is 10mm thick, powder coated in red and fitted with a plastic block. The sliding pin is manufactured from solid round 20mm steel and fitted with a hardwearing plastic sleeve in order to prevent damage to the bicycle.

The height of the U-Lock bike stand above the surface is 695mm, the total height is 820mm. For installation purposes you can choose between an anchor part to grout in or a base plate for fixed concrete surfaces.

All steel products of the bike stand are hot-dip galvanised according to the standard BS EN ISO 1461. The addition of powder coating not only gives extra protection but also the choice from a wide range of RAL colours.
